Everybody's skin is different. When someone says use this or that keep in mind it may not work for your skin type or you may be allergic to it.
Get a good nights sleep, drink plenty of water, do not drink alcohol in excess as it causes loss of nutrients, vitamins and water, do not smoke as it causes loss of nutrients and puts drain on the immune system, exercise to a safe amount, eat a good diet, take antioxidants along with a good daily vitamin to supplement your diet, eat plenty of healthy foods fruits and vegetables, do not eat sweets in excess or caffienated beverages or chocolate or sodas. Keep your salt and fat intake at a good level. Do not do drugs in excess (legal or illegal) as they destroy your antioxidants which help keep your skin looking younger and your body healthier. Some people swear by using just vaseline but it is a petroleum product which is not very natural. Some swear by babyoil but it is mineral oil with fragrences which is a petroleum product and causes loss of vitamin E which is an antioxidant. I noticed a product I bought once that is not on the market anymore worked very well it was loaded with collagen and antioxidants. The closest I have come to it is Swiss Formula with C, E and A in it I believe but it is difficult to find. I only use products when I have to and try to realize part of the wrinkling when i have it is dehydration or the need for sleep and rest or eating better. Also use a mild facial cleanser so it does not dry out your skin. I have used a variety of products over my life time as I have always had very dry skin and I like shea butters, coco butters and balms a great deal. Sometimes I do use vaseline when my lips crack as it works very well regardless of how natural or unnatural people claim it is. I often use just a very nice quality oil made up from natural products very lightly on my skin, or even a nice quality lotion during the day. I try to avoid anything with heavy fragrences as they irritate my skin.
