You must be referring to the softening effect of lactic acid. Lactic acid is only found in sour milk--I wouldn't put that on my face! Better you find a skincare product with AHA such as:

Certainly it wouldn't do you any harm, however, if you have greasy skin, the milk will make it more so. If, like me, you have dry skin (a side effect of mature skin I'm afraid), a better natural solution is whip up an egg yolk with one or two drops of olive oil and apply to your face as a face pack. Leave to dry (about three minutes) then wash off gently using cool/tepid water. Dap dry with a soft towel and moisturise as normal. Have fun!
