I was wondering how i could get involved to sell Mary Kay. I go to marykay.com and I don't understand how I become a consult. Also how much revenue do they make for selling Mary Kay? I mean how much % of each sale?

As soon as you find a Mary Kay consultant believe me they will tell you everything you need to know. Part of their job is to recruit more people, they will be more than happy to help. As far as how much money you make depends on how many people you have working under you.

You make 50% of each sale you sale at normal cost. Example if you sale and item for $10 then you will make $5. To get your starter kit it will cost $100. Mary Kay is one of the best home businesses to work for. You get to set your own schedule and put your family first. I am a Mary Kay Consultant and would be more than happy to help you with anything you may need.

I was the top Mary Kay rep in my hometown a while back, and still resigned. I found that the company had already experienced hyper-growth and therefore, no matter how good your product, it is difficult to make a living at it. That ship has sailed. I found it difficult to "talk people into" having a home party that they didn't want in the first place and the price was an issue for most as well. If you are looking for a home business to supplement your income you need to do a little homework. First of all, be sure the company is in good standing with the Better Business Bureau, then look for a product in demand. People who choose a business that is in demand by the baby boomers experience far more success. In the 50's it was Gerber baby food, the 60's was Mattel and Fisher Price, the 70's was Real Estate, etc. All had an 18 year window of opportunity by being there for the boomers. What they are looking for now is health and anti-aging., which has become today's multi-billion dollar industry and growing more each day.

My aunt used to sell Mary Kay a few years ago and she told me she found another consultant and they trained her. After that you have to buy all the products you want to sell and the consultant will tell you what % you get to keep. Good luck!

I'm having a contest right now where I have to have 5 interviews with very sharp, smart ladies who are interested in the business. What we do, is I call you and we have a 3-way call with my recruiter and explain the entire business to you. This actually helps me learn how to do my own interviews.

By participating in the interview (which is about 20 minutes) you get $20 in free Mary Kay Product (whatever you want)-- and entered into a drawing to win a free faux fur coat!

Let me know if you are interested.. it'd be a great way to learn about the company (even if you decide not to do it) and win some great makeup- and of course, help me get my 5 people!

Try finding a Mary Kay consultant in your area. They can tell you how to get started and I believe that they will also train you. Good luck!
