I have normal skin (neither dry, nor oily and hardly get spots). I wear Nars makeup primer, before applying oil free foundation and oil free powder. However, I find that a few hours later my face appears 'shiny' - i blot with tissue, because adding more powder would just cause a build up. Any advice on getting rid of shine?

I have never had any allergic reactions to mascara but since I've started using Lancome mascara I would get the same pattern of symptoms every time I use it. I would put it on, then my eyes would become extremely sensitive to light and I would get very sleepy. I would hardly be able to keep my eyes open. That would happen like in an hour or so after applying the mascara. By 6 pm my eyes would be so tired and sore from light that I would be ready to go to bed. So I would struggle through the day straining my eyes and then the next day I would get a big headache! The days I don't use Lancome mascara I feel okay. Has anybody else ever experienced anything like that? I wonder what's causing it. All good mascara brands usually use pretty much the same ingredients- a bunch of chemicals. I wonder what could be in Lancome mascara that's causing this. Otherwise I love it, my eyelushes never looked better but I can't live with such a side effect.

I called Dillard's, and they no longer carry Shisseido cosmetics. I am having trouble finding someone who does. I am especially interested in their lip gloss, and ther moisturizers. Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I'm a sixteen year old girl who often gets mistaken for a 12 or 13 year old boy. It has nothing to do with my body(although I am petite). It's my face I guess. haha Anyway, I don't want advice on how to dress or how to act. This is a makeup and eyebrow crisis ONLY. haha I know that sounded stupid, but it's true. I'd really like step by step eyebrow stuff, and I want to stick to wearing black eyeliner/brown eyeliner. I have medium length sort of bushy brownish blondish hair that I have been straightening lately. I have blue eyes, and I guess my face type or whatever is oval. Light skin..Anyway, I really need someone's help!!! Thanks!!!

I can remove make up at night by using a make up remover or cleanser and good face wash..but lipstick is harder to get off, specially non-transfer, long lasting kind of lipstick....how can that be removed without any rubbing or damage to the lips?

I use mascara, eyeliner, and facial powder, and that's about it.

I only wear lip balm when my lips feel dry.

It normally takes me about 5-7 minutes a day to do mine, full foundation, eyeshadow, and maybe a bit of blush on special days.... Do I need to take more time or less?
