The BEST lip gloss I used was Double Gloss by Estee Lauder. It's sheer and smooth. I think they stopped making it.
Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Lip Glosses are horrendous because the dry your lips out.
Clinique Pot Glosses are OK, but they don't last.
Wet & Wild has a very shiny lip gloss. I've only used it once, so I can't speak for it yet.

I absolutely love Satin Lips by Mary Kay. If you want super-soft lips before using the lip balm, using the lip mask for a few minutes and then following up with the lip balm is the best. I am a Mary Kay consultant and Satin Lips can only be purchased through a consultant.

There's this stuff called Lip Glass, it lasts 4EVER on your lips... I love it, but it costs like $13 though... Other than that, I like regular fruity flavors...
