I live in Arizona, so it is very hot hear. I wear a consealer and compact on my face but during the afernoon my face is kidda shiney and look oily even when I am inside all day. I don't put to much on just enough. Any suggestion on product that don't make your face to shiny or oily? Or can I put anything on my face before I put on my makeup to not shine my mid afternoon??

I just dyed my hair again. My natural color is red but this color is more of an orange (a good orange though) with small darker red lowlights. I like to wear makeup, but it seems that I can't find a color to look very good with my hair. Any suggestions?

my mom is ordering makeup for us(she does it about once a month) but instead of getting my usual, i was thinking of something different. the brand is MAC. my mom works there and she just orders it and gets a discount. but any ideas other than my usual?(black or dark brown eye liner purple eyeshadow with a bit of mascara.. sometimes blush and lipgloss) i have strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin. any ideas that would suit that??

My sons school ( a boys only) has a tradition of having a beauty queen competitionfor the boys every year and the "queen" gets a lot of prices. (Every year it gives a lot of fun) This year my elder son (15 years) has to represent his class for the competition. I want my son to win the competition...and i know dressing a boy as a girl is a challenge for any makeup artist. If you admit you like girls who wear very thick makeup they automatically assume you dont like them without it on!!and that theyre ugly without it.Not true most girls are pretty in their own way!
Also a girl who wears thick make-up will say you only like her makeup and not her but the makeup is part of her cos its her choice to wear it(and if it isnt you can tell!)

Okay, so I'm going into 8th grade and I'm 13 and I want to start wearing make up. The only thing i do for my face is wash it. LoL. I'm captain of the varsity cheerleading squad for my school and I feel that I want to wear it now. I have a dark skin tone and brown eyes if you need to know that. I want to know how to use stuff like Foundation, Concealer, Mascara, Eyeliner, ETC. I'm afraid to use eyeliner because I'm afraid I'm going to poke my eyes out (LOL) and I'm afraid to use an eyelash curler because I'm afraid I'm gonna rip my eyelashes out (LOL). But please list tips for me. I dont want to look like a whore because i have too much on (LOL!!) I need tips on how to use it. PLEASE dont be rude. But give me advice on what I should consiter putting on my face (this is for school and i REALLY want to look different) and please name brands and price ranges! I'm in a wedding in a month, and am having trouble deciding on makeup colors. My dress is a light brown (latte) strapless dress. Just so you have all the details, I'm Asian and am fairly tan. I usually wear pretty neutral eye and lip colors, but am not sure if this is still ok, since the dress itself is a fairly neutral color. Any thoughts on this would be very helpful!
