Try oil-absorbent blotting sheets. You don't need more makeup, you just need to remove the oil. Clean & Clear has some good ones at Wal-Mart, and Ulta's got some good cheap ones. Do not use alcohol, it will dry your skin out too much and cause it to produce more oil, not to mention irritate your skin.

Start by using a cleanser and moisturizer for oily skin (Velocity by Mary Kay is great!). Then you want a foundation that's suitable for your skin type as well, so that it absorbs the oil. If you still see a little bit of shine throughout the day, use an oil-absorbing tissue (I like Mary Kay's Beauty Blotters), or try an Oil-Mattifier. If you can't find a consultant in your area, you can find all of the products on the website listed below.

I would use MAC's Prep and Prime before you put on your makeup. Then, use MAC's Studio Fix Foundation, it has silicia in it which controls oil, and then finally, throughout the day, I would use MAC's blot powder as needed. It also has silicia and is simply a light colorless powder that blots away excess oil.

Do this and your face will be shine/oil free!

exactly know how you feel,i have very oily skin. i use clinique all the way and just some oily blotters. it took me a long time to find something that controls my oil and clinique does it. i use the clarifying makeup and it last a very long time controlling my oil. sometimes after i put on my moisturizer i use oil mattifier from mark kay but very little is just needed bc if put too much on then it will make ur face oily faster then i put on the clarifying makeup

I also have an oily face. You shouldn't use concealer until the probel is fixed, it clogs up the pores. I use alchahol to dry it out if it's super oily, or wash it with usual soap. Also you can get oil free facewash, and scrubs. You can also boil water and hold your face over the steam coming from overtop, and it'll open your pores, then you wash your face. You can also get medication creams for your face, they work, but you have to keep a routine of using something to clean your face.

Blotting sheets for sure..I have oily skin...and instead of hiding it with powder which piles on the dirt and holds in the sweat....it blots the oil away. much better...espeically in the summer....dont re-apply powder until you use an oil blotter....if you dont have one on hand..use tissue. Either way....oily skin means that you won't get wrinkles fast..so enjoy your luck.

I would recomend you to Lancome Pure Focus T-Zone Powder Gel. Unlike Powder, the lotion also tighten pores and gives skin a velvety feel. It also doesn't leave any filmy residue.
