Makeup advice for a seventh grader.?

I don't see anything wrong with wearing a little mascara, it really opens up the eyes, makes them pretty. When I was younger I wore just a touch of mascara and a hint of eye shadow. I'd say you probably only need the mascara, it will make a big difference, I used to buy black, I still do, it gives the best impact. More women should use it, just don't clump it on, use it lightly, Mascara that is thick and cakey just does not look good. There is a brand called (Jane) which is inexpensive, and I love the (Mary Kate and Ashley) brand, it is inexpensive but good quality. I think I got mine at a Wal-mart.

Just use face powder to keep away the shine. A touch of blush, perhaps a rose color, and some mascara. That should make you look beautiful. It's best not to ruin your skin with a lot of makeup right now with your youth. You really don't need it. Also, if you have any acne, use a coverup pen. Some light colored lipstick such as a peach should look very nice. If you decide on eyeliner, with your youth, it's best just to line the top lid, but you really shouldn't have to since you will be using mascara.

just a little brown or brown/black mascara will brighten up your eyes. try a sheer lip gloss in a soft pink. avoid dark colors. if you have blemishes you want to hide then use an oil-free liquid foundation. cover girl and maybelline make some good inexpensive ones. match it as closely as possible to your skin tone. put a drop the size of a dime on your finger and blend, blend, blend well into your skin. try a foam cosmetic sponge to blend around the hairline and jawline to make sure it doesn't look like you have a mask on your face. the key is to try to look natural so that your own beauty can still shine through.

Hey im in 8th grade and I have blonde hair blue eyes but I have pretty tan skin(but dont fake bake ever it gives cancer)and I dont wear fondation all I wear is a little black eyeliiner on the top lids and mascarea and some brownish pinkish sparkley eye shadow!!

Why do you need makeup? You're only a seventh grader...why not wait?

If you MUST wear a little makeup, I would suggest a little brown/black mascara and a very sheer lip gloss - nothing else on your young, beautiful face is necessary!

Don't use it yet honey. I am 16 and I still don't wear make-up. It's not becuz I can't it's becuz I don't want to. All you need to do is buy some lipgloss and put that on and you'll be straight. All make-up does is lie about you. That's how so many teens are ettin' kidnapped. They put on all this make-up and then they appear older to these grown men and then the men end-up takin' the girls. Just be natural honey. Like I said, I don't wear make-up except lipgloss and I was voted prettiest girl in my whole high school. You don't need make-up to make you look pretty.

Alright, if you have to wear makeup, which I really think is not the case seeing as you are 12 years old, keep it at coverup and lip gloss. Don't put eyeliner, don't put mascara, cause the older kids tend to look at middle schoolers who put as much makeup as a 20 year old in a really bad light, ok?

since you are a 7th grader, you should not put on very much makeup

try:

lip gloss...but not too much or it will look sluty. so just put on a little bit to add a little shine

eyeliner...the tinyest bit...if you have to, put on a little thin line

mascara...if you have thin eyelashes than put some on, other than that, i wouldnt...you can always tell when someone is wearing mascara

eyeshadow..put a little bit on..maybe a light pink or purple? maybe cream colored.


but other than that..you really shouldnt be wearing a heavy load of makeup...remember...you have the rest of your life to put on a ton, leave your face alone for a couple more years.

Personally, I think someone you age would look best in something like this:

brown mascara, (skip the eyeliner, it would look to heavy on someone with your complextion) brush a little bronzer on your cheeks, and finish with some lip gloss! Viola!

Lip gloss and a bit of mascara. You don't need any of the other stuff right now. It's terrible for your skin anyway. Hold off on the foundation,blush and powder till high school.
