I was watching the news and saw a report about a new hair treatment they have in salons. I think it was called No More Frizz, and it like coats your hair follicles or something and prevents frizz. You have to get it redone twice a year. It's not at all like japenese hair straightening because it's for straight or culy hair. I called my hair salon and they said they never heard of it. I didnt remember the name of the salon on the report.

i just colored my hair.. how long do i have to wait to get a perm? or do i have to wait until my hair color is all gone and my hair is back to natural color again? also, is there any way a stylist can remove dyes from my hair to make it natural again?

Ok, I just spent $170 bucks and 3 hours at a hair salon. I went there with the intention of coming out with considerably LIGHTER hair. Originally my hair was a chestnut brown shade from a semi-permanent dye I did about 5 weeks ago, and naturally my hair is a honey blonde.

For all the time and money I spent, I got a full head of highlights and a toner, but it's only slightly lighter with some coppery (even red-like) highlights at the top. I'm pretty annoyed. I'm aiming at a very cool toned, ash blonde or even platinum and supposedly I'm meant to wait 6-8 weeks and get all this done AGAIN and again until I get to the shade I like...yeh, NO.

Celebrities go from blonde to brown to red in a matter of weeks, so there must be a faster alternative to this? I don't mind if my hair is dry for awhile, but I want a DIFFERENCE not these very exxy and subtle highlights.

Any help? Any hairdressers who know it can be done in a shorter time span? HELP!

I want to dye my hair black but i keep it on the short side, i get it cut every 2-3 weeks, so is it worth it to dye it because by the time i get it cut won't it have grown out enough that all the black would be cut off?!?!?

The other thing, and i know this is a stupid question but i need someone to answer it, hair dye doesn't permanantly change your hair color right?!? your natural color grows back in eventually right?!?!?

my hair is naturally light brown , and i once dyed it auburn and now whenever i try and dye my hair dark red or dark brown, the hair color fades and turns back into auburn. even if my roots are half grown out and i dye my hair, everything goes back to auburn, even my roots. how do i prevent this, and how can i make the dark hair dye stay without fading?

I have dark brown hair with golden blonde highlights. I straighten my hair a lot and I know I shouldn't do it that often, but my hair is unmanageable when I don't. Due to the straightning and highlights, my hair gets really dry, escpecially where the highlights are and it makes the color look really bright. Do any of you know any products that may help with this problem? Thanks!

I am an african-american woman and my hair's length is past my shoulders. I relax my hair every 8-10 weeks. I wear my hair out during the day and I wrap my hair at night. I get a roller-set and a blow-out every 2 weeks. When I wash my hair every 2 weeks and I always lose a lot of hair while I shampoo, and afterwards I use a detangling conditioner and comb it through and i always end up with tons of hair in the comb, long strands. Can somebody tell me why this is happening or what I can do to minimize so much hair falling/shedding? Also, a week after I wash it, it starts to shed long strands, probably 50 hairs a day, is this normal and why does it start happening approximetly 7 days after I wash it? I am in desperate need, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I recently got my hair cut and I have a long layered hair cut, with angling in toward my face. Every other time it came out fine, with the same stylist. This time on one side, the hair sticks out and does the opposite of what the other side does. What should I do? I hate it! and I don't want to cut it off short. I went back to the stylist to make sure it was evenly cut it was fine. Is there any styling products out there to help tame layered cuts? Any suggestions?
