my daughter is wearing a wig for a dnce competition and it is frizzy and all over the place. i dont want to ruin it.

I have very hard, coarse hair and those wax strips DO NOT work for me, nair isn't strong enough and i'm tired of shaving all the time. It is so sensitive that i have to shave once a week or it will just bleed on top for ingrown hairs. So can you give me a recipe for a strong wax? Or a brand?

You can see what I'm talking about in the I'm Not Okay (I Promise) music video when he is talking to the cheerleader. Right now I use gell and it makes it spikey, how can I get it like his? Do I use hairspray? Is there a specific kind that will last long?

i know i'm a FREAK when it comes to getting my hair done. i don't trust anyone with it. i've only had 1 haircut i really liked - i hate going to the salon - and i'm a hairstylist!
so how can i make you come to me for your hair needs? or get more clients?

My daughter's hair is a nice medium ash brown, shiny, and soooo thin. It won't grow long either. She doesn't have any medical problems - just got shortchanged one the hair genes. We buy lots of pink clothes to avoid confusion but still she's occasionally mistaken for a boy. My hair (I'm the mom) is long and thick, her father's is fine textured and receding. Does anyone else's child have hair like this? I've had two different women make comments about her hair - wondering why we would cut it in a such a short shag, and maybe she got some scissors and did it to herself?! It's so thin I can barely keep a barette in it. I'm afraid this may start affecting her self esteem, especially when she starts school. Will it ever thicken up?
And no, I don't make this an issue with her or say anything to give her a complex about it.

When I color my hair I usually get some that gets on my forehead and sides of my face. I wipe it off immediately but find it stains my face at times. So I spend more time scrubbing it off. Is there something I could use to keep it from staining?

I have dark brown, almost black hair w/ too much grey for a 30 year old! I've been using Nice N Easy for the past 5 years...every month. Occasionally I'll add a few highlights w/ a different brand box kit from Walmart or similar.

So what I'm wondering is it worth it to have my hair colored in the salon? I am not concerned w/ money, just the look. I always feel so frumpy and like my hair is dull and boring. I have long, thick hair with a fine texture to each strand, it's just turning grey.

I just want to look cool and hip. I've never had my hair done in the salon before because of financial reasons, but now that's really not an issue. I plan to get long layers cut into my hair next week. I want to look good for our cruise in 2 weeks!
