The long hair is parted in the middle, and brushed back in a layered style.

This is a good site to see feathered hair and other styles. I am proud to say I had feathered hair and loved it. LOL It was like side-wings curled away from the face that' s why it was called feathered.

Farrah Fawcett was one of the best know with feathered hair. Pic of Farrah on this site.

Feathered hair isn't what the first guy said lol. Feathered hair starts off at the front of you head (fringe) then it is cut so that it gets longer . Like a diagonal haircut haha. It looks good though. Hope I have helped :) xxxx

I will start out by assuming you are under the age of atleast 25. Feathered hair is usually parted in the middle and then brushed back towards the back of the head.Usually blow dryed this way for better effect. Go back and look at ANY pictures or T.V. shows from the 80's, especially Jane Fonda workout videos. You can't miss "the look".
