im in desprate need to know what to do with winter static.
no matter what i use, or do it just goes all staticy and dull looking.
what methods can i use to contorl this

static can be helped by rubbing a antistatic paper that is used
in the washing machine rub it on your brush be fore you brush your hair you can also try static guard on your brush.

I feel your pain, sista! It does seem to be really bad this year! My car shocks me EVERY TIME. There's actually "Static Guard" over by the laundry detergent area, its about $3.50 a can...You can use Pam no stick spray (or a generic one from dollar store, I directly spray my legs & it really helps) also carry Bounce in your purse & wipe your hair (just a light stroke) & coat, (AND THE SEATS OF MY CAR) hope this helps

the only thing i have ever done is to touch metal and take the shock. it works for me.

it sounds weird, but dryer sheets that you would normally use for your laundry :)
