Hair - February 2007

My hair is long, to the middle of my back. It is predominately straight, tends to get frizzy when its humid and it is thick. I need to find something other than a ponytail for work. I don't feel very professional when it is down though. Any ideas, websites, books, etc are appreciated!!!!

Can you reccommend a good conditioner. We use tressemme at the moment. I only wash her hair once a week because it takes so long to dry naturally.

I have blonde hair with brown streaks. My roots are starting to show darkish brown. But I want a different hair color. I like different and exoctic colors. But I have medium skin tone so blonde is the only color I can find that looks good. I NEED HELP!!!!

Hello,

I recently bought a Solia hair straightener, Biosilk Silk Therapy Serum, and Farouk CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray. What is the best way to use them? After showering, do I apply the serum, then dry my hair, and then use the thermal protection spray, then use the Solia? Or do I use both serum and the spray when my hair is wet and dry them together?

I read that Biosilk has alcohol in it and will in the long term, dry up your hair. How often should I use it to prevent this from happening?

Well, i have natural curly hair, and the last time i visited a hairstylist(quite a long time ago) and asked her to help layer my hair, she told me that curly hair cannot be layered(so i straightened my hair for the past 3 yrs). So is this true? Or is she just inept. Also, can someone recommend me a website that teaches you how to tie/bun up long curly hair, preferably one that has ponytails and such, as long as the hair is not let down, my school doesn't allow long hair to be let down.

Let´s just say I am your husband and I am going to pick you up from work tonight. As you are leaving the building you see your husband (me) but you notice something different. Upon walking closer (I still don´t see YOU yet) you notice that I must have gone to a hairdresser cuz my hair is long with extensions and styled like Michael Jackson or Lionel Richie from ´87. What would you do? Would you be mad? Would you just avoid me (as I haven´t noticed you yet)? Just curious, if I should surprise my wife like that.

Ok, so like I've always had medium/long hair, and I want to cut it, I was thinking about cutting it like this: http://magazine.web.de/images/434/1069434,h=420,pd=3,w=281.jpg The thing is, my hair is wavy... so I was wondering if that hairstyle can fit me, do you think it would be okay if I get it done like that and I use the hair dryer? I mean i use relaxing creams and hair straightners machines , but it dnt give me the straightness i want, if i do sports the sweat makes it go fuxxy, and during the day my hair tends to stick up like fuzzy, so i dnt know if its just natural or any other way.
