Need ideas for updos for work. I have long hair.?

My hair is long, to the middle of my back. It is predominately straight, tends to get frizzy when its humid and it is thick. I need to find something other than a ponytail for work. I don't feel very professional when it is down though. Any ideas, websites, books, etc are appreciated!!!!

try the book: 5 min easy updos, also, try getting a medium size clip and just twist all the hair low and flip up and clip so the hair comes out the top.

Its time to get a hair shrink honey. i don't be attentive to what your hair sounds like yet 4 feet is surprisingly unmanageable for a updo or something. If I have been you i could beautiful a minimum of two feet off, then attempt the updos human beings are asking for. you will sense so much less liminted!

there are tons of things you can do. a simple non-french braid twisted and over one shoulder can do the trick as it looks professional yet has a cute flattering look to it. also, a bun with hair chopsticks can be arranged neatly high up on the back of your head if you like it. if your on the run and need to find something easy and effective, a big opening and toothed clip can do fine - simply take all your hair like your going to put it into a ponytail low down, at the neck, and then twist it all up several times and finally bring the twisted ponytail up on the back of your head and clip it in place.

I wear ponytails to work a lot, just nice sleek ones with an attractive tie. You could also try an easy bun. A twist can work well too. Just make a low ponytail at the base of your neck, then twist it up. Secure with a clip.

first get something to control the frizz. that will make it a million times better. you could try some cute new things like a bun or wrap some of your hair around the band. add some accessories and you can make any pony tail look more professional.
