I bought this maybe a week or two ago and I used it and it gave me dandruff and two other people who used it got it too. So did anybody else ?

Hi!!!
Here is why you have dandruff----the PH level in Pantene is very high (many dandruff shampoos are even higher!!) The higher the PH level the worse it is on your hair & scalp.
(get out the science books and the PH Scale)
Hair and Skin have the PH or 4.5-5.5
When you go into the salon you always hear the words "acid-balanced" this means that the shampoos and conditioners will leave your hair and scalp in the PH range of 4.5 to 5.5 .
and that equalls no dandruff.
When hair and scalp are higher then everything dries out and flakes will appear. Hair can even break when the PH is too high.
The Answer??? Go get a shampoo from a salon .(they are all acid balanced)

I use Pantene Pro-V brunette expressions and I don't seem to get dandruff. Try using it only every other day, and see if that helps

Yes! It gave me dandruff as well. Since then I stay away from Pantene and lean more towards Herbal Essence or John Frieda

I have! But its not only that shampoo from them I got it from using the Pantene smooth one (green bottle) Check out www.womenshelp.net for some great websites on shampoos and home remidies to get rid of the dandruff. They have some great links on their website. Good luck and let me know when the class action lawsuit begins ;)

Try rinsing a little more. It could be just left over conditioner or something =/ But it could also just be your hair type; I use it and the only time I got dandruff is from being in a rush and not rinsing enough.

yes as much as i love pantene products they all give me horrid dandruff!!!!! It is the only type of shampoo that does it!!

my mother used Pantene for Color-treated hair. it gave her HORRIBLE dandruff!! Pantene just doesn't seem like a good shampoo, to me. it makes my hair feel "plasticy."

umm i wanted to get it but pantene is very bad for the hair like really bad for the hair and i went to the salon and she use this proclaim glossing shine spray on my hair and...and what it dose is it shines the hair and inhances your hair color and my hair was like picth black when i went home and lookd in teh mirror i going to buy some my self but dont use pantene but then you can always try it out

I've used only "simple" Pantene pro-v and I got dandruff......so you are not alone....
