i would say heads n shoulders. it is the best product available at the market. i know cos i used it. and i am still using it. i have an afro hair so it is easy to get dandruffs. when i started using the product three times(after three washes), the dandruffs are gone! it really works ,trust me. i recommend the head n shoulders menthol shampoo. it even cures your headache.

I would use a tea tree formula. Paul Mitchell makes a line of tea tree stuff that is good for all kinds of stuff. They have shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, styling products. The shampoo is very versatile for hair AND body because it helps with fungus, acne, psoriasis, excema, BO, dandruff...blah blah. It is a natural oil from Australia that is known to help with a lot of medicinal problems. Tea tree also cleans the scalp and hair of any buildup from other products, so it is a clarifying shampoo. It is gentle enough to use all the time, but you can switch off every couple days to keep the dandruff under control.
So anyway, try that. If you don't want to spend the money for the brand name, go to a beauty supply store and look for Generic Value Products. They are in 32 oz bottles, black and white, and are the same thing, it is about 8 dollars vs 24 for the same amount.
If you use the shampoo as a body wash as well, you get a little more bang for your buck and less junk in the shower.

I have three teenage boys and the best one is Wal-Marts version of Head & Shoulders. They have one that is the shampoo and conditioner, it's only 1.98 a bottle and it works just as good as name brand. They DO NOT have dandruff if they use it on a regular basis.

i don't love dandruff. era. Oh my goodness, i'm sorry notwithstanding it truly is merely disgusting... what you suggested about using your hair dandruff to make it "snow." Having a great number of dandruff likely shows that you do not have good hygiene. there are a good number of techniques to diminish dandruff, from diverse shampoos to treatments.
