i have really short hair and cutting it was a big mistake. i really want longgg thick hair...i heard from another question that aloe vera makes ur hair grow faster...is this true??

if it is..can someone tell me the specifics like how much to use, what kind, how long, things like that...or at least a website...thanks!!

I am Chinese with dark-brown hair and want to cover some white hair. Had used Biogen, a Japanese do-it-yourself hair dye, then developed allergy to it. Also tested several professional hair dye with my stylist, and I'm allergic to all of them. Pretty serious too - itching, inflammation, and blistering.

Do you know of a hair dye - at least semi-permanent - that might work for me? I just want a medium to dark brown colour. Nothing funky.

I have "Infinity by Con air," and it works good, but my hair doesn't really feel silky or smooth. And I HAVE to straighten it EVERY day! Is there any other good CHEAP straighteners? Also, what does CHI do? Is that like a hair straightener, or is it also like those liquid things that come separately? And what is CHI, anyway? Also, if there are no cheap ones, how can I make sure my hair stays smooth and silky?

kk my hair is not an afro but its big ,thick n gets frizzy easy and i just feel im for ever straighting it (wich isnt good as it dries it out) is there any way that you can thin your hair my friends say the hairdresser can do something is that true if not what else can i do or use to try and controll it? thankx x

I bought a Chi hair straightener the summer of 2006 (it was the best investment of my LIFE). Just the other day, I went to use it, and the straightener wouldn't spring back open once I closed it! It doesn't seem like it's stuck, it's more as if the spring that allowed it to open back up isn't working or is worn out (I use it almost every day). I can still open it back up, but I have to do it manually. It also seems as if it's not straightening my hair as well as it did when it would spring back open.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how or where I can get it fixed?

I'm a 16 year old girl with hair that goes to my upper-mid back. It's wavy by nature, but I straigthen it daily. I always have a middle part, (in fact, I can't not part my hair even if I wanted to, it doesn't stay) and I've currently got slight angles on both sides.

I'm getting a haircut next weekend, and I want to do something different with my hair that'll still look good when I straighten it. I was thinking about bangs or something, but I don't really know how to describe what I want to the hairdresser. Any suggestions on good bang styles/any pics?

my hair is wavy when its wet, but once it dries it gets really poofy so i have to straighten it. right now i have a CVS 2 inch ceramic straightener, but i dont think it is very good (it was only 20 dollars). when i straighten my hair, it still gets kind of puffy, and i cant get the ends of my hair to be perfectly straight. what i usually do is when my hair is still wet, after a shower, i put Got 2 B straight product in my hair, then i blow dry it, then i straighten it. Are the hair straightener and the spray in stuff i use good enough? What kinds do you use? And do you have any tips on making it straight at the ends?
