Lice Killing products may significantly loosen perms or cause the loss of some new hair coloring, but will not cause any unusual colors to appear in the hair. It is advisable that you consult your colorist or beautician before using such products on your hair. Perhaps they can give you an idea of which lice shampoo would be best for you to use at this point.

If you went to a salon to get your perm, you need to call the salon and inform them that you have lice. They will need to treat or discard their brushes and other equipment they used on you. The sooner you call, the better for everyone else.

You also need to throw out or soak in lice shampoo all your brushes. Wash all your towels and sheets in hot water. You can't put the treatment off because you are going to infect others. Wish you'd asked a question before you got the perm.

You should have taken care of the lice first, then get the perm.

I'm assuming you did the home perm thing; no stylist would touch a head of hair full of lice!

But if you put more chemicals in your hair now, you're gonna wake up with all your hair on your pillow. Yep, you got rid of the lice, but also all your hair and now you look more like me! Have fun growing it back!

Your not suppose to even get a perm if you have lice. You have to kill the lice first and then get a perm. You might just end up drying out your hair really bad.

If you possibly still have the box that you got the perm from there should be a number you can call to ask questions. Or if you had it done at a Salon then call your stylist and ask her. She is licensed and should know what you can and cannot do in this situation.

I would call the place where you got your perm and ask them. If you are embarrassed, then don't tell them who you are. Or call a different hair dresser. But you need to talk to a professional, they'd be the ones that would know for sure.

i think so. dont do to much in a small period of time cause it will irritate your scalp making it itchy. like i permed mine and got cornrows done the same day and they were ITCHY AS HELL. leave it for another day or two unless you need to look good in which case looking good means sacrifices!
