Shampoo, conditioner, leave in treatments, gels.... i think i need to be using something with a heat protecter to because i blow dry and straighten and i dont use any product in my hair after i wash it.

My hair is black and I have tried a few times to dye my hair to burgundy color, but it never work. It's still the same color. One time when I got the highlight hair color to dye my hair, and it turn orange. Does anybody know how I can dye my black black hair to burgundy sucessfully? is there a product that you tried and it works.

We are accustom to saying that we perm our hair, but the proper term is relaxing. Perm is just a shorter way of saying Permanent Waving aka Jheri Curl, so when you are posting questions asking about relaxers dont say "perm". For those of you who knew that this is not for you.

It seems like men usually are attracted to blondes, but then there are a lot of men that like brunettes a lot too. I think men just like women in general despite hair color. Do women though prefer to go after only one type of hair color. I always hear women going after the tall, dark type. Please expound on this issue. I know it's not really that important, but I'm just curious.

I already have naturally curly hair (i am a mixed race girl-african american, indian and white. but my curly hair tends to look frizzy, poofy and have less curls in some areas.)

This girl's hair is perfect. Her hair is all nice in curly and long and its shiny too. I want my hair to look like this.

I have curly frizzy hair that falls just below my shoulders. Since it is not too long, when I wear it curly it often looks very puffy. I put in a lot of gel to manage it, but I hate that look of hard-wet hair. I would LOVE to find a way to get my curly hair flatter, softer, and more natural looking. I find that if I take a shower at night, and sleep on it, i wake up with flatter hair..but I still need to put things in it to look nice, and then it ends up all hard and wet looking again. Please help

My hair is severly damamged due to perms, and coloring. It's dry and feels like an SOS pad sometimes. I have asked the beauticians at different hair salons and they tell me to use their hair products that they have to push. I want to know what I can use to make it soft and managable for more than a day. I have washed and put conditioner in and left it in all night and it was soft for that day. I'm looking for more of a long term results. I'm not asking for an ignorant comment or a dumb answer so you can get points. I'm looking for some good, serious, honest answers. Thanks a head of time

when i brush it it gets like it does when u rub a baloon on it . i can get it wet but that only solves the problem for about an hour after it dries any suggestions?

I have to wash my hair twice a day, one in the evening, and one in the moring becuase when I wake up, my hair is soaked in oil and during the day, I feel like oil is dripping from my scalp. If I don't do that, my hair gets so oily, people ask me if I just washed my hair! But my ends are so dry it just flies everywhere. I need help. I hate smelling my oily hair everyday and feel like a big lard.

Just curious because 4 guys that I've dated in the past did not like it when I cut my hair and they also liked it when I wore my hair pinned up or in a pony tail. I'm wondering if a lot or most men prefer it that or if it just happened to be my 4 previous boyfriends.

So i have dark hair and i decided to bleach it by myself...BAD IDEA! lol :) i have long hair and now its damaged just the ends tho but ive been using this new shampoo from pantene and my hair looks better day by day its shiny and it looks healthier everyday but when i brush my hair lil pieces would fall of on the sink like split ends...is that good? i know most of you guys are gonna say Go gets ur ends trimmed this and that :) but thats not my question...so let me know what u think...has it happend to you? write asap :) tnxxx
