im a guy that has an average of 5 inch long black hair. my friends have been begging me to spike my hair and i finally gave in. but ive tried and gave up so now im desperate enough to go on here. please help! to sum it all up, im an idiot who is trying to spike his hair but doesnt know how because i usually dont give a **** about my hair.

I have very long hair and I want to find a way to not sleep on it so as to prevent furthur damage. I don't like to tie it in loose ponmytails off to the side because not only is it uncomfortable It actually ruins my hair more. When I just sweep it to the side it always ends up getting wrecked when I roll over. Got any ideas? Thanks for all your help! You guys rock!!!

I have a ball/prom coming up and I'm really stuck for what to do with my hair, i may do it myself or i may go to a hair dresser. I'm fair haired and fair skinned. Oh and my hair is a bit below my sholders. it is either 'just' up or down (boring ) on a normal day. I want to look different as though I've made an effort. Greatful for any ideas :)

Hair lost after Chemo--I am happy to be alive.My hair is different from my original hair. I have a bald spot?

I am a salon professional to let you know. And I have been doing up do's w/a lot of products to keep the hair looking crisp and sleek. But is there a product out there that is simple to help control all the little hairs and to help the updo w/it's appearance?

For about a year now, I've being applying a half head of highlights, using a highlight cap, and Garnier summer hair (a spray that is 23% peroxide, and lightens hair using heat from hairdryers and the sun)
I want to return my hair to it's original colour (about a 6, dirty blond/light brunette)
If I dye it myself, what are the chances that the colour wont "catch" or will fade very quickly.
I know I can go to a hairstylist, but I'm hoping to do this myself.
Please let me know if you have experiance in this field
