you take a small layer of hair and put it in the curling iron with the pivot ontop, or rather the piece that lifts ontop. pull iron down to very end of hair and make sure NONE sticks out. Then roll towards the back of your head about half the length of the 'slice' of hair. Wait about 10-15 seconds. Release and brush lightly as to give the 'feather' effect.

use a small rod, make sure your hair is dry, curl tight toward the back of your head right up til you feel the heat from the iron but it isn't touching your head, you will start at the front right up the middle taking a small strip of hair each time, then do each side the same, let hair cool and use a wide tooth comb or pic and pull hair back easily, it should fall back into a nice feather, might be harder if your hair is longer, make sure you "nuke" it with a little hair spray when done, and remember if it doesn't work you can brush it out and start again.

use a flat iron and slightly flip ur wrist out at the end..works great!!
use a smoothing serum before u use a flat iron or curling iron so u can protect ur hair from the heat and ur hair will be silky smooth

ive done this way to many times.now if u already have layers,ur fine.but if u need layers get some.okay now,u can ask ur hairdresser to do it or u can do it urself.now first you have it already straightened it.you curl it around lightly not tightly.hold it sternly for 7 seconds.now that uve reapeated those steps youget ur matrix hairspray and lather it up and then shake it for a totally sexy look.

layer your hair first then blow dry with a vent brush ,brushing back away from your face.
