Your hair is VERY fragile when wet, and when you put it in a ponytail when it's wet you will split your hair. ESPECIALLY if you sleep in it! If you do it once or twice is no biggy, but if you go to bed with your hair wet every night it will ruin your hair. My friend did this awhile back and she had the most beautiful long hair you can imagine and every night she took a shower, threw it in a ponytail, and went to bed. After about 6 months of this, her hair was so badly damaged she had to cut her waist long hair, above her shoulders because it split all the way up. So try to avoid that whenever you can. Swimming is okay but I usually put mine in a braid or let it loose when I swim, this way I avoid the tangleing I would have with a ponytail! Hope I helped!

Your hair, like other people before me have said, is very fragile when it's wet. I wouldn't suggest doing it often, since it will break very easily when you put it up when it's wet. Hope I helped!

Its rather not a sturdy thought. once you're taking the ponytail accessible could desire to be alot of harm and breakage finding on how long you will keep it in there for. And besides i think of it would fairly stink after being moist all day like that.

If you do it too tight you will rip your hair, if you must put it up wet use a shrunchie not a elastic or gently twist it and put it in a bun.

I would be very careful since hair is very fragile when wet. Also those holders that have those metal connector is hell on the hair.

Yeah. When your hair is wet it is weak. Leave your hair alone when it is wet. Don't brush it too much. Or you will weaken it even more.

it is not good for your hair as it is more prone to breakage when it is wet. a loose ponytail is better than one placed tight against the head. also, it it better for your hair not to use rubber bands, even coated. the scrunchies are best, as they do not damage the hair as severely.

yes because if you put it up wet a big white ball in the back of your head will come out in the corner of your head.
