I have long and very curly hair and I would like to have a new and modern hair cut (getting it too short is NOT an option!), any suggestions or sites that have options for this kind of hair?

Since you want it left long, I suggest you have it cut in long layers and have them frame your face.

I agree with the gist of jay-jay's point, which is, it's all about the hairdresser - the right one can pick the right shape for your hair based on your face shape & how thick/curly your hair is. That has been my experience with my wavy/curly hair, which has various sizes of waves & curls in different parts.

Go see Deana Tharp at Nassau West, near Oak Grove/Milwaukie area she has natural curly hair herself and understands what to do, she is great!

i to have very curly hair,and the best look for me is to have layered so the curls will curls instead of a wave.

i too have curly hairs.. i dont have faith in haircut bcuz u cant see haircuts in curly hairs.. merely enable them to be the way they are.. curly hairs are boon.. comprehend them ( dnt comb ur curls it will cause them to greater unmanageable )

I have the same problem. I just have it all cut the same length. but then I have bangs in the front so yeah. Tell me when you find something good :]
