My 12 year old daughter's hair is thinning really badly around the edges. Does anyone have any suggestions or is anyone aware of hair care products (for black hair) to help reverse this problem.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. : )

I am a 55 year old male, bald on top and would like to let my hair to grow out again. However, I have noticed that when it reaches a certain length, it begins to look hideous. By hideous, I mean that it sticks out in places where it shouldn't and is practically uncontrollable. What do I do to manage my hair while it is in the process of returning to its previous length? Thanks.

What the hell should i do with my hair?!?
I want to colour my hair *not dye it* but maybe put streaks in it. I've had red streaks and brown streaks and had the underneath of my hair completely red and even had a blonde fringe at one point. Any advice what i should do now. I don't want to look scary so I also wanna know what would scare ppl off! If you can be bothered, go to http://www.myspace.com/banana_13... to see some pics and help me out...I'm bored with my hairrrr.

I have a lighter brown hair; it has been dyed many times before, but not for a few years. I was just wondering if the color would stay good? I've never dyed it black before. My hair is fairly thick and it takes certain colors well (takes blonde good, brown good, but not red).

Thanks!

I dyed my hair for the first time today, I always have it professionally done, but I tried it on my own and what was supposed to be a dark brown from a blonde, IS BLACK!!! I'm freaking out big time my hair can not look like this I am on vacation and do not wanna go home like this. I now, after seeing such a drastic change would like to go back to a lighter color, so if anyone can help me that would be great!!! Just if you know any immediate permanent hair dye remover techniques or anything. Just anything anyone!!! I am here and ready for your guys' assistance... Hopefully I can get some help!!! Thanks!!!

I do know the answer to this question but I want to see if anyone else does. The first person to give me the right answer wins. By the way, it is not by washing your hair and is a product most homes have that is non-chemical!!

I have really really curly hair. It's about sholder length. But it is really light. (weightless) What should i use in my hair to make it heavier and make my curls lay down and fall, instead of stickin straight up and out?

I know this is a totally weird question but ... for those of you who have naturally light blonde hair, what color are your pubes? Do they match? I have really light blonde hair and my pubic hair is brown. Is that odd or normal?

i tried dying my hair purple (beyond the zone: color jamz), but it was too dark. it was originialy a faded red color. the lady at sally's told me if i just used some clarifying shampoo it'd fade some more and the purple would take. it came out this ugly brown color but my dark blonde roots turned a grayish purple.

so i went back to sally's and got some permanent color stripping stuff. it took the color out all right, but after using the last step of the box (which it was one 'n only colorfix) it's now green.

my hair is normally healthy and strong, but also thick and naturally curly. before this dye mishap i had it straightened (not permanently, just till i washed it again) so that i could cut it and donate to locks of love. so it's been through a lot this past week. that and i've spent about $60 on it -_-

so, what should i do? i don't want this ugly green. i'll take any color as long as i don't have to damage my hair much more than i already have.

Is there anyone out there who can help? I have really long fine hair, all one length, down to small of my back. All I can do with it is twist it up and clip! **UGH** I'm so tired of this boring hair, I don't want to cut it though. Can anyone give me some good step by step instruction on some of the really cute updos I see this summer?

I'm a guy speaking for myself. The female that has her hair fixed nice is usually the one I will ask for a date. I notice that some females don't even know how to fix up their hair real nice. Is this something as little girls you learn or is it just a creative thing for you all. I see women with french braid designs, braids looking nice, hair done up in a bun, perms and then I see females whose hair looks like garbage it's frizzy, not combed or brushed, a pony tail with just a rubber band in the back, just straight out like those elementary girls who just go to school and don't care(that's how some adults go around with their hair looking like that) I'm talking about all races too, white, black, and hispanic. As a guy, I'm into women who have nice hair or at least hair done nice all the time. Complete turn on for me! That's the first thing I notice on her is hair! It's a shame not every female knows this secret about guys on females! How many of you all keep your hair looking nice?

I'm a black female and my hair is very thick. I haven't found a relaxer that straightens it out like I would like it.
