If you have had highlights this is totally normal. The problem is that your blonde highlights grabbed the brown and sucked it in. Not to worry. Use hot water when you shampoo and add as much heat to it as possible, within reason. Hot showers and swimming pools are your friend right now. You will or should loose about 60% of the original color in the first 3 to 5 days. Other then that I would not try a color remover on it. Wait about 2 weeks before putting another chemical over this one. Color will not remove color. If all else fails go to your local beauty supply. Sally's beauty is usually close. Buy some 30 volume peroxide (about $3 for a 2 oz bottle) and put it in your hair. Leave it for no longer than 30 mins. When you rinse more of the color should fade.

I have black hair and I have always wanted brown. I tried box home remedies. And the color never went all the way through. So I ended up using more than one box. So maybe you just have to dye your hair back to a lighter color by bleaching and then dying again. Since you had blonde hair, it sounds like you may have thin hair and this maybe too rough on your hair. I suggest if you dont want to do this yourself, to go to a hair dresser and they should be able to make you good as new. If you arent able to do do this on vacation, you could wear a scarf or a hat until your able to get back to get this done.

Kate h knows what she is talking about. If money is the problem try going to a beauty school. I would think about this first, alot of the people there r not very experienced with hair just yet. But if u go to the right school the teachers SHOULD help the students get your hair done the right way.

you said your on vacation? put some lemon juice in it all around and lay in the sun with your hair spread out like a fan. It will give you a good tan and hair. wear some sunscrean b/c it will take a little while. by the way, why do you want to dye your hair darker from a lighter?

PLEASE DO NOT PUT LEMON JUICE IN YOUR HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WILL DO NOTHING BUT DRY YOUR HAIR OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't go and buy a lighter haircolor, it WON'T work!!!!!!!!! You'll have one HOT MESS when you are done!!!
Go to a salon, ANY one, cheap or not, and tell them this:
You want a SOAPCAP with 20 vol. You want a TINTBACK to your natural color. If they need to put you under a dryer, fine. Make sure they know what your natural color is, SHOW THEM ON A SWATCH BEFORE YOU HAVE THEM DO IT! Be ready to pay at least 80$ to have this done. Your 6$ mistake just cost you, next time, you will think twice.

Once my sister wanted to see what her hair looked like black with a spray bottle that washes out but she didn't realize that on the can it said 'Do not use if hair has been recently dyed' she dyed her hair two weeks before. She freaked out (at her friend's house) and took a bath to try to wash it out. It left her hair grayish/black. Her friend's mom knew a lot about hair and put lemon juice in her hair, washed it out, and did it again. It worked!!!(You should try it)

go to the salon and ask for a malibu treatment and a dark brown toner. the malibu will remove your existing hair dye and the brown will get you to where you wanted to be in the first place. good luck!!

surely agree, ryhdian replaced into through some distance the extra acceptable singer, with extra existence, potential, variance and each and every thing else. i'd say im a great deal stunned yet telephone votes that charm to nationalties will continually arise bias, without idea as to who they truly desire, yet merely for there own united states of america.

buy cheap shampoo and good conditioner and wash it ...wash it ...wash it...It eventually washes out some over time right?....So you just speed up the process...Or throw a lighter color over top...You will do more damage but have faster results....Go for a neutral dark blonde...That should do it...and end up about a medium brown
