ok,i got one dread lock in my hair that i made myself...and i wanna be able to wash my hair without getting the dread washed with shampoo and cnditoner,how can i pretect it i've tried many things but it still doesn't work and 3 times i've had to make a new one.please help!?

my boyfriend is going away for boot camp on Sunday... and we're going out for our last date for like three months... i want to look really good for Saturday when we hang out... the thing is, is that were not doing anything really big... were just hanging out, but i want to do something new and really hot with my hair... i always either straighten it or scrunch it with mouse... PLEASE HELP... what do i do with my hair???!!!!! (something not to formal, please)

I straightened my hair 2 years ago and now only my roots are curly but not the ends. I ve had to straighten it out daily. Now I dont have alot of hair like before. I started using extentions and it just seems that I have even less hair and its not curly but nappy. What can i do. Should I cut it short and just let it grow or stick with the extentions till it grows out?. The extentions are straight so I have to streghten my hair to fill the extentions. Help! I want my curly long hair back!!!!!!

I have tried: low/high ponytail, 2 braids, 1 braid, ponytail with hang buns/ballerina buns, low/high pigtails. My hair is wavy, 3 and a half inches past my shoulder in length and really really thick. I would wear it down except that after like 15 minutes my hair puffs up and i dont want to put hair spray in it.
