Are their diffrent types of fade haircuts?
I asked a similar question about a hairstyle i saw and found out it was a fade #2
What does fade#2 mean?

means the size of the clipper attachment. how short u want the hair. if u want it longer or short u can use a diffrent #

yes there are different types of fades....
fades are mostly for black men hair style but u can condsider some cuts for caucasian hair to be coinsidered a fade.
It is when the barber/stylist grades the hair form the neck up to as far as the middle back of your hair. that is the fade.
Just look at the back of almost any black man's head. that is called a fade

a fade basically means their hair on the side is shorter than the hair on top. Like it "Fades away" kind of.
