I straightened my hair 2 years ago and now only my roots are curly but not the ends. I ve had to straighten it out daily. Now I dont have alot of hair like before. I started using extentions and it just seems that I have even less hair and its not curly but nappy. What can i do. Should I cut it short and just let it grow or stick with the extentions till it grows out?. The extentions are straight so I have to streghten my hair to fill the extentions. Help! I want my curly long hair back!!!!!!

curling shampoo doesnt work AT ALL!!! its a waste of money. get a perm, but make sure you 100% want curly hair. sometimes the hair get too curly and u cant straighten it, and then theres the old ur hair gets to short when its curly!

the healthiest option is to cut it short and let it grow down curly without you straightening it or take the unhealthy but quicker route and get a perm.

by straightening your hair, chemically or with a flat iron, you are actually changing the composition of the hair (remember, the long stuff is already dead!)

the only way to regain your curls is to cut it off and let it regrow or (oh, the damage!) perm it.

Have you thought about getting a perm or a wave? I've also heard some people say that curling shampoo works too.

I think you should do a perm or something. You could use those electric thingys. Couldn't you?
