ok,i got one dread lock in my hair that i made myself...and i wanna be able to wash my hair without getting the dread washed with shampoo and cnditoner,how can i pretect it i've tried many things but it still doesn't work and 3 times i've had to make a new one.please help!?

Get Saran or cling wrap that you use to cover leftovers and stuff. (Ex.:Glad press and seal.) put your dreadlock inside some and make sure it stays tight. Wash your hair normally but be sorta careful. :))

But a dread lock is all about the oil...I've lived in Jamaica. They don't wash and they twill their hair. Eventually the hair is so stuck together, they can run clean perfumed water through it and it will stay together. But, shampoo will only mess it up...no, you don't understand the true concept.

Ummmmmmm now explain why you don't want to wash the one lock you've got on your head.. It's still hair and will need cleansing eventually..

first of all it's not it's not a dreadlock, it's just called a lock(unless it's, like, green). wrap it plastic wrap or something when your wash your hair, that might work.

they r really ugly and make poeple look dirty

umm... i dont know if this will actually work, but maybe wrap it in that plastic wrap stuff. yea, that should work.
