I have medium to dark brown natural hair, and it has been dyed three times to a dark burgandy. How can I effectively lighten my hair to a honey-brown?

I would go to a Salon. Talk with someone there who knows exactly what you could do. If you didn't want to dye your whole head, you could always start with some highlights and see if that is the correct color and look you want. From there, you can always have her do the whole head at another time. Highlights are always a nice change. Good Luck.

If you want it lighten your hair the right way, you should go to a professional. You don't want to try at home kits and get your hair turned into something feeling like straw. I've been there.

A good dye to get is L'Oréal Paris: Couleur Experte. It has an all-over dye and highlights. It always looks really good. Ive had people think I had my hair done at a salon after I used it. I highly recommend it.

Dye it with a permanent or demy permanat dye. An effective dye is Feria, it can change ur hair dramatically and dosent fade.

Demy permanent dyes like Loreal Colorspa work well too but can show root regrowth.

Since you have already dyed your hair three times, and are still not satisfied, I would go to a professional cosmotologist.

Take a photo of the color you desire...it wouldn't hurt. :)

what a silly question... professional!!! OR, you could be smart and just pour peroxide over it... or dunk your hair in lemon juice and lay in the sun.... oh the possibilities.... Target also has hair dye on sale for $4 a pop.

your best bet is to go to a hair salon and have them do it for you just tell them what you want and they will do it.
