I need a little black dress for an event I'm attending in the near future and was wondering if anyone knew where I can buy a totally adorable one. Preferably short and attention grabbing. Thx.

So all you people who are used to being in and around snow, what sites would you recommend for buying winter clothes? I'm in southern california where it RARELY gets cold and I plan to go somewhere on the east coast soon. I don't know how to dress for the weather. Please help me! I just googled what snow boots look like and they look horrific! Point me in the right direction, I don't want to freeze or look fashionably clueless!

i'm a size 0 in pants (i dont starve myself loll. i'm just really short and have a high metabolism)

anywayys there was a pair of pants i liked but they ran out of size 0. do you think i could fit into a size 00 for those pants?

My wife is about 5' 7" tall and has a big bone structure
(approx. 170-175 lbs)
What size sweater/jacket would she wear ?
I would hate for her to take it back because it was the wrong size, if you know what I mean.
This is a Xmas gift.
Im spending around $200+ for the sweater/jacket

The collared shirt is white with thin, black stripes. The sweater is black with shades of gray comprising the argyle. And it is a v-neck.

My fiancee said it would be "too much going on". But I've never tried it.

Any ideas?

dont want to wear jeans I want to wear a pair of nice black slacks I have with some heels and a sweater. I know him he will wear a polo and some jeans. I dont want him to feel out of place if I dont wear jeans. Do you think its okay if I wear my slacks?

I'm going shopping today for a skirt and boots., and I'm fashionably challenged. Do you think a knee length skirt would look trashy with knee high boots?

How can I save it? Is a shoe officially over when the bottom gets a hole, even though it's still a nice leather shoe? I can always buy another one for 70 bucks, the same pair. I also see shoe repair places. i've never checked them out. i don't know how much they will charge for sole repair. or if it's even worth it. what should i do?

Do you have to really kill the poor sheep just to make a pair of UGG boots?

The answer is YES. The sheep has to be slaughted to obtain their hide and fleece. Now once the sheepskin hides are taken from the sheep then the process of preparing the hide for manufacturers and ensuring the hides are up to export standard begins.

Woolskins are usually preserved with salt prior to being processed by tanneries. At the tannery the skins are processed in large vessels called paddles which vary in capacity from 3000 to 15000 litres. In contrast to hide processing, in woolskin processing mechanical action is kept to a minimum in order to minimise felting of the wool. Rotating blades on the paddles move the skins slowly and gently, and processing is performed at much higher float ratios (typically 20-35 litres of water per skin) than are used in hide processing.

Typically it takes about 10 working days for the skins to be tanned and finished ready to be cut into panels for ugg boots.

Okay this is embarressing and everything but I need your input. I'm staying at my Grandma's and for some reason I don't have a pair of fresh underwear.
