dont want to wear jeans I want to wear a pair of nice black slacks I have with some heels and a sweater. I know him he will wear a polo and some jeans. I dont want him to feel out of place if I dont wear jeans. Do you think its okay if I wear my slacks?

You'll be fine. Wear your outfit and let him wear his. If you're really worried about it, you could always find a dark pair of jeans to wear with your outfit.

You could always wear jeans with a dressy top and heels, or vice versa, the nice pants with a more casual top and shoes. Or you could just wear what you want, and he could change his style to match yours

As long as it doesn't look like "work clothes." Low rise, wide bottom slacks can be great, because you can wera higher heels with them than you usually can with jeans.

Wear whatever you feel the most comfortable in. If you like to dress up then dress up! He will most likely think that you look very pretty : )
