I'm going shopping today for a skirt and boots., and I'm fashionably challenged. Do you think a knee length skirt would look trashy with knee high boots?
I'm trying to hide my thighs, so would this do the trick? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

No because you're only showing about 2" of your leg, and if your skirt IS knee length then all you'll see is a little bit of skin below your knee. Knee high boots go up to just an inch or two below your knee, depending on how long your legs are. What would be trashy is if you wore it with a super short and tight mini with no nylons or stockings. A knee high skirt will hide your thighs.

That doesn't look trashy...but a skirt that falls below the knee looks better with boots...if you dont want your legs on show.

No, it does not look trashy. I see people that go to big name colleges that where the exact same thing.

I think it's ok to wear short outfits as long as you cover for example the upper part or the bottom.
If you're showing skin at the bottom part,make sure to cover up the upper part,and the other way around!
Don't wear to "hard/rough" make-up with it....

I think that would be cute you could even get those dark stocking to wear with it because I don't know where you live but it's too cold here to have your legs bare and I love that look!

I like girls in jeans. It makes them look more home town like and it generally does not look like they are trying too much but if you're looking to get this fellas attention, this may not be what you want

I do enjoy putting on long skirts once in a while. They are really actually more comfortable than Skinny jeans and also much less hot to wear.

No, it will look great.
Try it with hose or tights, the color of the boots - makes leg line look longer, thus slimmer.
