Fashion & Accessories - December 2007

This one has actually happened to me before. I need a respective answer and a solution. I have a white dress, wedding/ball gown type. It's been in a bag for some time now and at one time it was a brilliant white. Now it's a dingy off white, turning yellowish brown. What causes this and what can I can I do to return it to it's former glory. I need it for a project real soon. I've considered dry-cleaning as an option. Any information and/or help is most welcome.

I am a very curvy girl and I have a hard time finding jeans or pants that fit. I have full thighs and hips and a smaller waist so I usually look like grandma in jeans because they fit around my butt and are baggy in the crotch which I hate!!! I usually get my jeans from old navy which I also hate, but I can't seem to find any other store that has a good fit that is LONG enough.

I'm 5'7" and I'm really comfortable in a pair of longs that will come to the floor in a pair of cute black pumps, but I can NEVER find any.

Anyone know of anyplace that is affordable and do not only carry the grandma jeans with the unavoidable baggy crotch??

ok i really need to go to hollister and stockk up on winter clothes cuz all of last seasons clothes are on clearance A LOT! this $90 jacket my mom wouldnt let me buy is now $50!!! i have to get it plus some cue jeans and other things "on sale". also there will be a bunch of other stores with a lot of clearance and after christmas sales. so do you think the mall is gonna be really crowded?

why are there no uggs in stock? i went to nordstroms today and the sales guy said the whole california bay area is out of stock. and so i went online to search for uggs and there are none. can anyone tell me where i can get mens classic short uggs in either chestnut or sand in size 7.cost is not an issue for me. i am willing to pay as much as it takes.

i'm the kind of girl that likes to wear sweats sometimes. but there are many times that i like to dress up. i don't come from a wealthy family or anything but we are well to do.

i have many dresses that my aunt has given me and they are very gorgeous. they are so pretty like the kinds you would see in new york or the kinds of fancy dresses that the young girls wear in the tv show "gossip girl"

now my problem is, where do i wear these dresses?
i love to dress up but i cant wear these dresses to church or anything because taht would be too dressy.
and i can't really wear these dresses around campus because that is still too dressy.
i don't have a lot of money (being the college student that i am lol) so i can't afford to go out to fancy shmancy restaurants where i can wear my dresses.

any ideas where i can go besides wearing the dresses only inside my house? lol

At long last, I have started considering that iPod may be the way to go. But I don't want to buy an iPod just because everyone else has one, but then I think, a JILLION people can't be wrong, huh? Where does iPod fall short? What do other brands do better? Do the other brands have as many downloads, accessories? Durability?

I want huge storage, and the LEAST TRENDY in terms of bells and whistles, most likely to withstand all the changes in ipod technology and still be a great machine because it is a basic no frills piece that was made to last a while. Last thing I want is to buy any machine and wait a month, only to see the newest and bestest badass player, and to find out that mine is on its way to obsolescence before I will ever wear it out. I don't buy toys like this every dang day.

IPod haters and lovers alike please speak up so I can make an informed decision. I'd like to know what you are using and why. Models, sizes, accessories...all rants and raves welcome.

Hey ! I'm havin quite the time choosing between these two outfits. I'm kind of leaning towards the black jeans and red top, but my mother insists on red jeans and black top. I'm going to my new boyfriends place for dinner and I'll be meeting the entire family. He's told me all week that the one persons approval I should be worried about is his grandmother, so I've done my best to keep my skin covered and still look cute :P Umm, I'll most likely be tying my hair back with a red ribbon, and I'll be wearing a silver diamond necklace. I have until 7 to decide! Pleeeease help me out :)

I love wearing my dress shoes without socks, my feet dont stink nor do my shoes & they keep my toe nails from growing long for months.
my legs arent hairy & i wear pants anyway. And my feet dont get cold in winter or hot in summer, sweat, but no smell.
So do i have to wear socks in my shoes or can i got barefoot in them?
No i dont wear or like sandals or flops so please dont suggest them yuck eweeee

how should i wear my hair for christmas eve?
i have light brwon (almost auburn) layered hair. it doesnt go up in a pony that well and it doesn't curl etheir, i would wear my hair curly( ihave naturally curly hair but i use a flat iron), but my natural is UGLY and it goes EVERYWHERE!!!1 lol plze hlp. if i find a style i think will work, best answer gets 10 pts!
