i got this reeeally cute denim mini skirt from american eagle but my parents are really uptight about skirts and they dont want to let me wear it. its really not short. and im not just saying that. its really not. and the weird thing is its 1 1/2 inches longer than shorts that i'm allowed to wear. so i dont get it. i know i can convice my parents, i just dont know how. i even said i'd wear it over a pair of shorts, but it was no good. im absolutely in love with the skirt so i really need some help. i'm giving it some time too but i really want to wear it to a party next week. help!!!

everytime i wear black nail polish, people accuse me of going goth..and it drives me insane..i have to wear pink nail polish just to get people off my back! (and i hate pink!) Tell me what you guys think :)

I have glasses now and I have an eye appointment coming up and have the option of getting contacts.

If you have contacts, do you prefer them over glasses? If so, why?

Anyone know of places that can replace the heels or re-sole vinyl go-go or knee-high boots? I've got some boots with 2.5" to 3" heels and I don't want those huge chunky heels, I want them very low or flat , like 1/2" (similar to equestrian or riding boots) I realize they might need to replace the entire sole to do this, just wondering where I should take them?

Dress was really expensive so i dont want to ruin it , but if i have to, to get it to stay up i will.

I see a great mens ring I want for myself. Is there a difference in womens and mens rings? I know in shoes it's 1.5 sizes, where a womens 9 is a mens 7.5. I can't go by shoe size cause I wear a womens 9 in shoe and an 8 in ring.

Do you have a favorite pair of jeans or shoes or other item you just can't part with? I do. Even though they may not fit I just can't seem to let the trash can have them! What is it? Do you have this problem?

Mine are a pair of tennis shoes. They are really expensive, but older, and all my friends have written all over them. But they are still laying in my floor! hehe

Well me and my friend are in charge of the "spirit stuff" for our camp thats coming up, and we are totally stumped on what to do! We want to make it fun, and enjoyable.
Our colors are Black and Gold.
Our mascot is the Cougar..

She's 10ish and is obviously slow. I was thinking about buying her an outfit. If your kid came home with an outfit would you toss it or let her keep it? I dont want to waste my money and I never see her parents.
