my friend and i found a diamond about the size of one on a large wedding ring. we want to take it to a pawn shop or jewler to see if its real. it feels quite heavy and we managed to scratch glass with ease.

what i want to know is if there are any tricks these guys will try on us to cheat us out of extra money. i dont even know if its real right now, but i dont want to loose an opportunity because i didnt know how to negotiate with him.

I'm looking to change my fashion style in terms of my clothes as I'm in a bit of a rut. I'm a UK size 14 so quite curvy and busty. I like funky alternative styles and anything that looks designer (not designer prices though as I'm only a student). My usual style is just jeans and t-shirts although I want to be more stylish and look smarter. Any suggestions of stores (preferably ones with websites) that must be based in the UK would be greatly appreciated. I'm particularly interested in knowing about designer jeans, vintage style t-shirts, killer heels etc. I'd love to find a nice black pencil skirt also. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I just bought one of those kimono silk dresses with the long sleeves for a company party. It has a small black pattern on cream for most of the dress, but the edges have a larger pattern. I bought some black tights with kind of a diamond pattern to go with it (I don't NEED to wear these BTW) Question... What would you do for shoes? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Im bout to start wearing fake nails but I wanna no which is the better ones to use. The pre-glued or the one where you put the glue on and then the nail.
