Don't use pre-glued, they come off way too easy. The ones where you have to put the glue on yourself are better. They don't come off very easy, but all you have to do is use high acetone polish remover to dissolve them. Or you can just yank them off, but that gets kinda painful. The BEST way to do it is to just go get them done though because They really don't come off unless the break, and the salon can take them off for you too. The bad part about wearing any kind of fake nail is that it doesn't allow oxygen to get to your real nail and they can become discolored. Don't panic though, it goes away. Its kinda just like a fungus. But thats only if you wear them constantly for a very long period of time.

i used to use these $5-$6 kits from walmart that were glue on...they looked great and i always got compliments. People actually thought i'd had them done professionally! But they only looked good for about a week then they were ready to pop off, which depending on how much glue u used and how good it was glued on, could be pretty hard. They chip also...the white tips on the french manicure styled nails. Oh and air bubbles are also really noticable in them...which makes it possible to get fungus in them...and that is never fun. Your best bet is just to spend the money on getting it professionally done. They look better longer and your way less likely to get fungus in ur nails by someone whos aware of what theyre doing. Cost price for proffesional nails though is anywhere from $20-60 depending on what u get, etc.

Fake nails or better knowns as Acrylic nails or nail extensions...
They are not really good for your nails
I would suggest you to have your own natural nails
Acrylic nails will damage the top most layer of your nails...
It has to be done professionally at the nail salon
Furthermore, you will have to maintain them
They are just glued on your nails and acrylic nails are usually for temporary use like for when you are attending weddings or any other functions...
After a few weeks it will start peeling off from your nail as the nail grows back...
The good thing about acrylic nails is that it look really good
but its really expensive
I suggest you to have french manicure which is more healthier for your nails and does not damage any layer of your nail and french manicure looks really elegant and classy.
It goes along with anything =)
Good Luck

Have them done professionally. The glue on kinds won't last more then a day and when they snap off they hurt. I have had acrylic nails for 15 years. I can't live without them. Once you have them on (that costs about $35 to $50 depending where you go) then you just need to have them filled and sanded each month. That costs me $30. I go to Volpe, because their places tend to be clean. There are cheaper places but I don't trust them. Other places do tips with an acrylic overlay. They never worked for me. I'd snap them on the radio. My nail lady paints the acrylic onto my nail using a form. At first they will keep them a little shorter until your real nail grows underneath for strength. My nails are super long. It's the only way to go!

I have acrylic overlay put on my nails because otherwise they snap right off. My nails are very brittle due to a hormone deficiency, and if I were to try and grow them out it would be futile. I keep mine shorter though, maybe a tiny bit past the fingertip, not too long. They work very well, but in my case there's really no alternative. Glue-on nails always fell off because the real nail snapped!

get the nails what you glue on. pay a little more money for you fake nails because the cheap ones dont last. after about 2weeks tops your nails will just full off. make sure your fake nails are not very long as there very hard to get used to. start off by useing shorter fake nails

don't buy the pre-glued ones..they wont stay on. When you wanna take your nails off, just pull them off. The bad part about fake nails is that they often fall off. You should go get them done, they never fall off that way and they last longer! It only cost about 25-30 dollars in missouri.

For me I get them done professionally. It last longer. But maintenance takes a toll. The glue ones work, but its a pain trying to put them on your self. If you use the glue ones, in order to take them off, you need to buy acetone nail polish remover and you have to soak your fingers in it. You need to soak your fingers in it to take the nails off so you don't damage your natural nail bed.

BEWARE! THINK THROUGH GETTING FAKE NAILS. WHEN YOU DECIDE YOU WANT TO GO NATURAL AGAIN, REMOVING THE GELS OR ACRYLIC CAN BE PAINFUL AND VERY DAMAGING TO YOUR NAILS. IT CAN TAKE 3-6MONTHS TO GROW OUT THE RIDGES AND DAMAGE TO YOUR NAILS. GOOD LUCK.
