velour pants if ironed will change the direction of the velour. i wouldnt suggest ironing them becuase it will look silly. you can iron them indirectly using a moist towel on top of them and below them. iron the towel not the actual fabric itself.

hang the pants over a hot tub. the hot steam will smooth the crease.
