where can i find a wide selection of this style in stores? not online. i already know lenscrafters and maybe pearle vision...
it doesn't have to be brand name, just that style, with the chunky plastic sides. not skinny sides.

♥ Well, I'm going to start 9th grade and I already have the skirt I'm going to wear on the first day of school, lol, I just have to look for the top and everything else.
Its a pink pleated mini skirt with ribbon detail on the top, since I paid kind of a little above my budget money I really want to use on the first day of school.
The thing is... is it alright to wear a mini-skirt on the first day of high school? I'm going to a school where I don't know any one! Since I didn't want to go to my local high school, lol. So I really don't know anything about those people.
Will they think I'm tryng to hard or something. I mean in my old school I wore skirts all the time! I also live in California, where its going to be hot on my first day!
I just want to know if u think its a good idea or a bad one so I can choose another outfit..... Its just I don't want to get a reputation =/

My school uniform code is very dressy.
We get to wear polos for a couple months, but soon we have to wear blouses with a sweater over it.

Where can I find cheap, cute sweaters and blouses, $5 - $40?
$40 at most! I can only spend $40 on ones I really love.

*No buttons on the sweaters! I love sweater vests. Any sleeve length is appropriate. I want a couple basic colors like black, white, gray, and navy blue, as well as some bold choices like red, yellow, pink, purple, and green.*

*The blouses have to be good quality! They have to have pointed collars, be made of mostly cotton, and the sleeves have to be atleast to the elbow. I want 3-4 basic colors, and a couple cool patterns like paisley or stripes in bold colors.*

Ok, so I am 14 and i should kno want i want my career to be by now right? i have dry flaky scalp patches. one on the lower back part of my head and one on the upper right side of my head (above the ear). i get pretty good sized flakes. sometimes i get flakes the size of the tops pencil erasers! (eww) and i am only 13. should i change shampoo i have used tressemme shampoo and conditioner for about three yrs. bc it is the only brand that i can find that works for my REALLY unmanageable hair. if i use leave in conditioner my hair gets greasy so what should i do. can anyone suggest some ideas on what hair products to use.

and if i scratch anywhere else on my head i get this white stuff under my nails. gross i know.

plz help. ppl used to love my hair but now ppl tell me "eww u have dandruff"

I usually go to a particular salon, but since I've been wanting to do things differently lately (midlife crisis at 23?) I went to a different salon. At first glance, I thought they'll change my appearance dramatically, so I was really happy. I told them exactly what I wanted. They said they'll do it to accomodate the kinkiness of my curly hair (not as kinky as my avatar's though- my ones are bigger, looser curls). She took an awful lot of time to cut it.....again, I thought she was concentrating hard. Finally, it was blowdried.....BUT I SAW NO DIFFERENCE. Her excuse was that this is the only cut that will suit my round face and curly hair. OK, so my only consolation was that I paid less than at my regular joint!
Perhaps I could style it in a different way to look different. I'm tired of my boring, slightly-layered hair. It's about 1.5 inches below my shoulders. Any ideas?

I live with my grandparents, and they smoke a lot -- everywhere. My entire house, all my clothing, and my hair (etc), and my bookbag/books smell like cigarette smoke!

They refuse to quit, as well.

Every morning I put my clothes in the drier with a scentered softener sheet, which I think helps, and I use deodorant and body spray... but I my nose is desensitized to the smell, so I can't tell whether or not I still smell like cigarette smoke. I can always smell it when I open my book bag, though.

I put body spray in my hair, as well, because I don't have time to shower in the mornings, so I'm sure it smells disgusting.

Please help! What can I do?
