The hair straighteners I have at the moment I have had for the past 4 years, and they just dont do the job anymore! I want the new GHD's, but are a little bit too expensive for me. I have really thick/coarse/wavy hair. It is dark brown. I always straighten it to make it look thinner. My hair is WAY to thick for me. Do you have any tips instead of always straightening it? withiut getting layers?

i feel my mom is too skinny. she eats and she is like 5'4 and probably weighs like 100. could this affect her health? Could she die? She was really skinny before she had my brother who is now 5. she lost all the baby weight now.

it cant be to expensive. and it cant be a gift certificate cause i can never go to the mall and because i cant order online. i already have a mp3 player. i would love a new wardrobe but my mom wont buy that (not enough time and thinks that 5 outfits is enough). i cant do anything like spending the day with her cause shes always busy. maybe something that i can do with my dad?

Why do people that are pretty not recognize it and why are some people self concess about this. How come about half of the time most of the peopel that are really pretty tend to be shy? Is it an emberassment thing or is it sicological?

Almost everytime I met some one or I'm in the store some one will say "Oh! You are so pretty" or "You have really pretty brown eyes". Because I do ballet people are like you "have such nice posture". I say thank you but for some weird reason it's like I wish people would recognize me for some other reason and I don't know why I feel this way.

Can anyone recommend a good foundation? I get the odd spot every now again, but generally skin is ok. It can get a bit dry and sensitive, especially in winter when I don't get much sun. I would just like something to give me even coverage, natural looking whilst hiding all those imperfections... Thanks!

I just spent about 10 minutes (on the clock) sitting at my desk clearing out my purse. It was... ridiculous. I purposely tried to downsize to a smaller bag so I would carry LESS stuff. Listen to this:

Loose, balled up cash & change
Cigarettes
2 lighters
A necklace
My wallet
6 Receipts
Gum
Keys
Mirror
Mascara
And about 5 little sheets of paper with addresses, notes, appointments.

What's happening to me? Am I alone with my ratpacky purse?
