Why do people that are pretty not recognize it and why are some people self concess about this. How come about half of the time most of the peopel that are really pretty tend to be shy? Is it an emberassment thing or is it sicological?
Almost everytime I met some one or I'm in the store some one will say "Oh! You are so pretty" or "You have really pretty brown eyes". Because I do ballet people are like you "have such nice posture". I say thank you but for some weird reason it's like I wish people would recognize me for some other reason and I don't know why I feel this way.

I do wear nice clothes....abercrombie, hollister, lacoste.

people that are pretty either don't recognize it because they know they are,but are afraid of what others might think if they say this, or because they might be really shy. usually it's shyness and embarrassment. because if you do say something it might sound like "yeah, i know I'm the most beautiful person in this world" you are sounding selfish or selfconcided without caring that others may be hurt or feel bad because they aren't so lucky to being pretty.

There are a lot of reasons for this, I will list a few for you:
They stopped caring about there own apearence
They grew up where image wasn't important
They think your pretty
That person is like that wil everyone they meet
Tons of reasons, I think you are concerned because of your own self image, do something to boost up your own moral something that makes you feel pretty

I think it is because, everyone has some kind of insecurities about them selves you know? Like for me I think I have big thighs but everyone says oh you are perfect, you have the perfect body, da,da,da. But I just think its because we dont think we are pretty or perfect in our eyes.

at first that's the only thing they have (what they see) because they don't really know you. that's just a conversation starter.
just say "thank you" and compliment their coat or something,
the conversation might go into territory that is more satisfying to you.

i dont know people tell me that i am so pretty all the time and i really dont know what to say to it and i dont know why.... mainly i think it is because we have low self esteem i dont know

maybe because you need to show more self confidance. be more out going and change ur dressing style.

idk honestly i think alot of people dont look at themselves as pretty.... i know i dont feel like im pretty compared to other people.. and i think you should be happy for being reconized as pretty.. lol luckkyyyy
