I am a guy and I had an earring a while back, but I haven't put anything in my ear in like 6 years! My hole is still very visible and I don't like it at all! I know it was a dumb decision, but does anyone know if there is a way to get rid of it or make it less visible?

I had to have a hole repaired and a doctor can cut it open, and sew it up...I had NO evidence of a scar or a hole...it was REALLY fast, painless, and easy. And three little stitches that came out 1 week later. My doctor says it's quite common.

Makeup is your only answer.

Being 6yrs old, it's probably grown shut. The hole is just a scar and will never go away.

Eventually it will go away, it will heal. It will take a long time though. They're not all that visible anyway, so i wouldn't worry.

You could put makeup on your ears but it might get on your shirt. Then you would look a little silly.

I've heard you can go to a plastic surgeon and he could put a stitch in it to make it alot less noticeable.

Nope - if there was, I would have been able to get rid of my belly button ring hole.

Now THAT'S unattractive!

Nothing aside of surgery. They will close if it hasn't been long, but six years I don't think it will close up.
