Beauty & Style - 18 January 2007

Hi. Im ethiopian and my hair is soft when its wet, but it gets drie really easily. I started using sunsilk after someone recomened it to me on yahoo answers and it really hydrates my hair. My friends hair used to be like mine but over a period of time it came to be like some spanish peoples hair[soft and curly]. what can i do to speed up that process. Should i was my hair more often to make it softer[i wash it every 2 weeks now] and or should i use some special oils or what?What do you think and remember this is advise for someone with black hair and no a perm is not an option!

I go tanning about twice a week, i am well aware that when i get older i will have alot of wrinkles because of tanning. Is there a way to prevent this from happening, other than not tanning?

Well on 18th of Jan 2007 our school had a carnival outside, it was cloudy no sun!!! well usually i carry my sunblocks and hat with me n so as this time, but in all that fun i did not wear that hat although a little sunblock, our carnival started at 10am anf finished around 1pm that is afternoon. now i kept unprotected cuz i waz not wearing my hat during these hours that i have just mentioned now please tell me have i got my skin damaged cuz uvB rays were absent but a little UVA rays were present and if so it definitely has speeded up my AGEING PROCESS n please do tell that is there a way 2 STOP AND REVERSE this ageing process and if so please do let me know I am worried like anything!!!! thanku (u can mention websites as well)

I dyed my hair about a week and a half ago, and the haircolor turned out to be too light..I wanted to go really dark brown, but It didnt work...I used to have my hair light brown before..So now I have two different haircolors..althought the difference is subtle, its still noticeable.Can I use a semi/demi permanent haircolor to fix the problem?

I normally do not wear make-up. Actually, I never really have incorperated make-up into my routine. I normally feel very self-consious when I do manage to put make-up on. Is that normal?

Anyway, I'm looking to start putting on make-up daily. What are some steps for good natural looking day-time make up? What are some steps for natural looking evening-make up? Last but not least what is your brand of make-up? I think I'm going to try Clinique brand but I'm not too sure what exactly is the best for a natural look. Thanks for your answers!

It's up my leg, but I want it to be the equivilant to a sleeve or half-sleeve, and I want to keep that spiritual/ earthy theme, so any ideas would be appreciated. I do have faces on the sun/moon, so I'm not sure if it would look right to get any portraits or anything else with a face. I have been using proactiv with great results and I am about out. I was just about to buy some more and I looked up AcneFree, which you can get at Wal-Mart for more than half price. I was reading the label and it says its better than proactiv. It has the same 3 steps as proactiv. Has anyone used these products? Are they the same or is one better than the other. I really want the cheaper one but if its not worth it than I will just stick with Proactiv. What is your opinion about these two products?

I've tried dozen types of eye products to minimize lines, puffiness and circles. The ones I'm most impressed with are gels that create a tight coating over your skin. Once it dries, your skin feels like satin and the lines aren't as visible when you smile. Can't remember what brands those are though. Anyone know of one that has this effect?
