During the first day I after I put my nail polish on, its starts flaking! Then it looks aweful!

I get all the oil off my nails first with fingernail polish remover (I've tried it without doing this and with doing this)

Then I put on a clear coat.

Then the color twice.

Then the clear coat again!

Any suggestions? I'm so tired of this!!!!

I'd really like to start changing the way I dress... during the past high school years all i've worn were "t-shirt + jeans" kinda thing (which isn't all that bad, but I want some change too). My mom won't let me get a perm or relaxer because my grandmother has the same type as hair as me and she used a relaxer AND SHE LOST THE MAJORITY OF HER HAIR! I want mt hair straight.. but i'm not willing to lose it..
I never put weave in my hair.
My hair stretches all the way down to my back when I try to straighten it.
