You got to be joking right? You don't even know this lady? I would not even attend & pay no mind to the invitation- geez one has so many real friends & family we can barely take care of- not to mention getting invited to strangers showers. So you go to the shower & get suckered into the wedding invitation- well that $ 50.00 minimum. Go to the shower & then the wedding - then the housewarming party & then the baby shower- yikes, bail while you can, good luck. P.S.- you save that gift card & use it for the holidays which are just looming over us right now. Plus on your wages- you can not afford to be giving away gifts to perfect strangers.Just say you have a prior committment & bow out.

I think that was very generous of you. What a nice person you are. After a couple gets all the weddings gifts from showers and the wedding there always seems to be something that is needed. I'm sure she will appreciate your kindness. Pat yourself on the back. That was a nice gesture.

Oh, no! NEVER NEVER NEVER get a gift card for a bride! The only one can be for a lingerie store or something like Victoria Secrets. Get her earings, or a bath spa kit, or some lingerie. No gift card! Especially if she knows it's only 25 bucks.
Hope that helps!

That's just fine, given that you don't know the woman and it allows her to pick out the gift she wants.
