EXTRA EXTRA CURly afro hair!! HELP?

Question

My mom won't let me get a perm or relaxer because my grandmother has the same type as hair as me and she used a relaxer AND SHE LOST THE MAJORITY OF HER HAIR! I want mt hair straight.. but i'm not willing to lose it..
I never put weave in my hair.
My hair stretches all the way down to my back when I try to straighten it.

You need a hot comb.. not a straightener but one of those iron combs you put on a stove... maybe you should ask your mom to start taking you to a beautician perhaps.

My hair was pretty much the same way because i'm of mixed race(blk/wht) and i got my 1st perm last yr when I was 17 and it turned out just fine. If you do decide to get a perm/relaxer use the olive oil one, it's the best.

Not sure what city and state that you live in but i live in philly,pa their is this product called E'tae. It is also the name of a hair salon in philly. The owner of this salon created a all natural produc for people with your problem. I live by this stuff been with out a relaxer in my hair for over a year. My hair is straight with out the chemical process. It really works. You can also oder the product off of her web site. Maybe you and your mom can look at the web site and she will like what she see and order it for you.

Actually what you can do to stretch out your hair is after you shampoo and condition apply some setting lotion and oil. Then braid your hair in 8 or 10 braids. You can air dry or sit under a hooded dryer. Then take it aloose and finger comb.

Then when you straight your hair leave it like that or you could just go get it cut so that it won't be as long.
