My girlfriend dyed my hair black earlier this week, and my father doesn't approve of it. He thinks I'm a satanist, or I resemble one now. So in order to lift my grounding, I need to dye it back or a lighter color. In order to get the black out I need to bleach it, but how much damage will bleaching do? My hair is shiney, healthy. It was only dyed once, by my girlfriend. It's practically passed my shoulders, but people have always said that long hair looks better on me than short hair.

I plan on bleaching it, and then dyeing it a medium blonde.

What can I expect?

i got a brochure thing from that salon heres what it says "sunless bronzing: achieve natural looking tan w/out dangerous sun exposure. a thorough dry body brushing, followed by an application of bronzing cream will ensure a healthy glow. 30 mins for $40"

should i get it? are you completely naked in front of the person? do they do your face too? can i tell them not to? um do they also spray my penis? do i choose the level of shade i want?

In a Harriet Carter magazine I have just recieved through the mail today,i saw a brand of shampoo and conditioner (pg.102)called "Shampooing Hair+ Shampoo" along with"Accelere La Pousse des Cheveux" on the shampoo bottle,with "Baume Hair+ Conditioner" on the conditioner bottle.It says that it is proven to increasehair growth up to 123% in 28 days.Has Anyone used this brand?If so,does it work,and is it worth my money? ($38.50 for both the shampoo and conditioner)

I have a " date" tonight and i bought a hair removal cream for my bikinii area. I left it on for 4 minutes like it said to then i left it on for a few more minutes to make sure it would work....it didnt take one hair off and now i smell aweful like the cream....It says not to wash with soap but would it be ok for me to take a shower and shave down there anyway? HELP!

I lost 107 lbs in 8 months back in 2003, then i went on wellbutrin for depression in 2004 and 2005. Both times, I experirenced major hair loss for 6-8 months. Then in march 2006, i took diflucan for a yeast overgrowth for 2 months and by the end of may, my hair started falling out again. I went to two dermatologist who specialize in hair loss and they agreed that I went through telogen effluvium and that eventually my hair loss would stop and it would grow back. Has anyone else experienced this and how long before your hair grew back? I am sooo stressed cause my hair is so thin now. The hair loss is slowly stopping and I can see hair growing but its taking forever. Any advice would be great!!!!

My best friend recently decided that she was fat. Period.

She's 5'8" and she said she weighs about 140 pounds. She refuses to eat lunch, or drink anything other than water. She even refuses gum, because it has calories. How can I convince her that she's not fat? I really worried because I think this may become a serious problem!
