I was told by a reliable friend that if I braided my hair- in a rough, crude manner, not perfectly neat like girls' hair- and left them in indefinitely then they eventually would essentially turn into dreadlocks because they would just continue to get more and more teased on their own by staying in braids. I've so far done this to a handful of locks of hair on my head and while I can possibly see these braided locks turning into dreads eventually, they're pretty thin, so I don't know if they'd get a little thicker as they teased up?

Where can I buy a really cool coat, I am petite but have a wee bit of a belly just now; it has to last and be warm and comfortable for the whole winter. I have about £80 to spend and as I am choked witht he cold, I would appreciate advice as to where to shop on the High Street without hassle. I couldn't handle a scrum this morning. TL Max is great, but no petite sizes. I welcome suggestions, as it is urgent.

What's a good mousse or gel for a kid's hair (boy - 7 yrs old)? The person that cuts his hair just told me to try different products and I don't want to blow a lot of money on crappy products. Does anyone else wear false eyelashes on a daily basis? I just recently started wearing false eyelashes since my lashes were falling out and leaving a bald space on my lashline due to everyday abuse from my mascara and eyelash curler, so I resorted to false lashes. Now, I am so addicted to the lashes from MAC! I'm just wondering if it is a bad thing for your eyes or lashes to be wearing falsies everyday? My real lashes have actually grown back but I still love my falsies! I would like to know from others who wear falsies religiously and what their experience is like. Positive or negative.
