Its not bad if you use somthing like a sedu or a chi
*Ultra-smooth plates guarantee smooth straightening
motion without pulling or breaking hair
*Tourmaline/ceramic plates generate more negative
ions than regular ceramic iron
*Cut your hair straightening time in half thanks to
high concentration of negative ions
*Negative ions renew hair with softness and shine
while eliminating frizz
*New Infra Red Heat technology seals in hair's
moisture and luster
*Ultra light-weight: the body is made of light-weight,
high-strength composite materials that are
commonly used in aerospace industry
*Faster heat-up time than conventional coil
straightening irons — it will heat-up to the desired
temperature in less than 25 seconds from being
turned on. Therefore, to save electricity and
prolong lifespan, it should be turned off between
uses with the Off-On switch located on the
temperature control thermostat. It still saves half
the time of conventional models.
*Ergonomic design is easier to handle
*Safety IDCI plug to prevent electrical shocks
*9’ swivel cord prevents tangling

Both are the same. If you wanna blow dry first then straighten your hair, make sure your hair is really dry before using the Flat Iron.

the hotter your flat iron the better because it actually removes less moisture than if it didn't get very hot. i try to avoid blow drying my hair and flat ironing it. but if i have to i use a heat protectant which you can buy at sally's

Either will cause your hair to have split ends and break. No matter what you put on your hair for protection, eventually you will damage your hair. But using a flat iron is more damaging because it is direct heat.

your hair will get frizzy if you use a flat iron coz there's a direct contact between your hair and the heat so i think its better to use a blow dryer.

I think its best to blow out hair with a cold setting/diffuser using a ceramic straightening iron is not extremely harmful unless it is used too much.
