Where can I buy a really cool coat, I am petite but have a wee bit of a belly just now; it has to last and be warm and comfortable for the whole winter. I have about £80 to spend and as I am choked witht he cold, I would appreciate advice as to where to shop on the High Street without hassle. I couldn't handle a scrum this morning. TL Max is great, but no petite sizes. I welcome suggestions, as it is urgent.

I know how you feel, i have yet to buy a new winter coat, im going to go at the weekend.
I have had a little browse around, and i have noticed that there are some gorgeous coats out at the moment... i saw some nice ones in Zara, Mango, Topshop, Marks and spencer, Oasis and Miss selfridges... check out those shops as they will have a nice range of elegant coats with a wide choice of colours and prints.

I'm also petite and find it hard to find good clothes. Places I always to are: Principles Petite (usually concessions in Debenhams), Zara (they don't do petite but tend to do those 3/4 length sleeves which are fine). Monsoon (again no petite but they seem to fit fine). Next Petite, Wallis Petite. Try to stay away from black because it makes us short people vanish into nothingness. Try white (with a furry detachable collar) brown or dark red.

Burberry, Prada, Gucci, Ferraggamo, National Costume they all make great fashionable coats. My favourite Dolce and Gabbana as they have the punk rock grunge style. cheers
